Ten years’ experience managing projects in which I consistently exceeded performance standards, and created programs that have earned National attention for best practices. I have developed programs that address the needs of women, immigrants, youth, older Americans, rural and urban populations. I have been successful at writing grants for Federal, State, and foundation money, and am skilled at interpreting and following statutory guidelines for program implementation. Managing programs as large as $2 million annually, I have supervised a staff of 15 community organizers, advocacy staff, instructor/trainers and administrative staff. Creating positive visibility in the community, I have been able to build partnerships with other organizations, increased outreach capacity and recruited a strong volunteer base.
